United States Sixth Circuit
Jones v. Potter, 06-3845
In an action brought by an individual who was allegedly discharged in a discriminatory manner from his post as a torn-mail handler with the United States Postal Service (USPS) after a verbal, on-the-job altercation with a female coworker, summary judgment for the USPS is affirmed where the USPS articulated a legitimate reason for its decision to fire plaintiff that was unrelated to his disability, and the reason was not a pretext designed to mask discrimination.
