Bridgeport Music, Inc. v. Universal-MCA Music Publishing, Inc., 05-5719
In a suit against approximately 800 defendants involved in the record and music-publishing business alleging various claims of copyright infringement, grant of voluntary dismissals without prejudice of claims against 20 defendants is vacated and remanded where the district court provided no reasons whatsoever to support its decision not to impose terms and conditions on the dismissals as requested by defendants.
