United States Sixth Circuit
In re: Cardizem CD Antitrust Litig., 05-2375
In a class action alleging conspiracy to minimize competition among pharmaceutical companies, an order requiring an attorney for a party to pay costs associated with the compensation of a settlement administrator is reversed because Fed. R. Civ. P. 54(d)(1) and 28 U.S.C. section 1920(6) permit costs to be charged against parties, not their counsel.
