United States Sixth Circuit

A judgment awarding $8 million in compensatory damages to plaintiff for injuries sustained while a passenger on one of defendant-Greyhound's buses and certain discovery and in limine rulings by the district court are affirmed over claims of error regarding the admissibility of certain evidence, a refusal to instruct the jury on state of the art principles, a denial of mistrial and JMOL motions, and the scope of discovery.
