United States Sixth Circuit
US v. Jackson, 05-6338
A conviction for possession with intent to distribute of cocaine base is affirmed over claims that: 1) the district court erred in denying a motion to suppress as an affidavit in support of a search warrant failed to contain sufficient indicia of confidential informant's reliability; 2) insufficient evidence was submitted at trial regarding the weight of the cocaine defendant possessed; and 3) the sentence was unreasonable and the court erred in calculating defendant's sentencing guidelines range, relying upon the government's expert's mere drug quantity estimation.
