United States Sixth Circuit

US v. Armstead, 05-6480

A conviction for being a felon in possession of a firearm is affirmed, but the sentence vacated where the record did not justify the district court's conclusion that defendant's prior conviction for attempted child abuse was for a "crime of violence" for purposes of the sentencing guidelines.
