United States Sixth Circuit
Washington v. Renico, 05-1185
Denial of a habeas petition from a conviction and sentence for first-degree murder and firearm possession during a felony is affirmed over claims that: 1) petitioner was denied his right to confront a testifying witness with impeaching evidence; 2) he was denied effective assistance of counsel; 3) he could not participate in his defense due to defense counsel's conduct; and 4) his trial was fundamentally unfair due to the exclusion of certain evidence.
