Wright v. Murray Guard, Inc., 05-5301

Summary judgment for defendant-employer on claims of race and sex discrimination on single- and mixed-motive theories brought by a security guard is affirmed where: 1) for purposes of his race discrimination claim plaintiff failed to prove pretext as to the reason for his termination; 2) plaintiff failed present a prima facie case of sex discrimination; 3) a mixed-motive claim failed as plaintiff failed to establish a genuine issue of material fact as to whether an unlawful factor motivated his termination.
