Fed. Deposit Ins. Corp. v. Dover, 04-6437

Summary judgment against the FDIC in its suit to collect $19.6 million under a criminal restitution order entered pursuant to the Victim and Witness Protection Act (VWPA) is reversed in part where the district court erred in finding that an immediately payable restitution order entered under 18 U.S.C. section 3663(f)(3) expired at the end of the criminal defendant's probation period.
