In a death penalty murder case, denial of a petition for a writ of habeas corpus is affirmed over claims of error regarding: 1) ineffective assistance of counsel; 2) a trial court's removal of "scrupled jurors" without attempting to rehabilitate them; 3) a failure to inquire into petitioner's reasons for filing an affidavit of indigency; and 4) cumulative error.
