GMC v. Ossa-Gallegos, 05-5824
A foreign national's sentence for illegally reentering the U.S. after having been previously removed because he had committed an aggravated felony is affirmed over claims of error regarding: 1) a finding that his prior aggravated felony was violent in nature; 2) the reasonableness of his sentence; and 3) a holding that the two-year period of supervised release should be tolled while he remained outside of the U.S.
