United States Sixth Circuit

Oaks v. 3M Co., 04-6147

Summary judgment dismissing plaintiff's claims against his employer for damages for breach of contract, promissory estoppel, and a statutory claim for additional wages is reversed pursuant to claims that: 1) jurisdiction was proper under a state wage and hour statute; and 2) defendant's employee manual provided sufficiently specific language to constitute a unilateral contract governing the parties' relationship.
