United States Sixth Circuit
Miller v. Admin. Office of the Courts, 05-5981
A judgment dismissing a former jury-pool manager's claims against the Administrative Office of the Courts and county officials alleging retaliatory termination in violation of the First Amendment, and violations of due process and a state whistleblower statute is affirmed over claims that the district court erred in: 1) concluding that certain officials were entitled to qualified immunity on free-speech and due process claims, 2) denying plaintiff's request to amend her complaint, and 3) granting summary judgment to certain officials on the state whistleblower law claim.
