Univ. Hosps. of Cleveland v. S. Lorain Merchants Ass'n Health & Welfare Benefit Plan & Trust, 04-4067

An order requiring defendant, a benefit plan and trust, to pay for services rendered to the son of a participant in defendant's benefit plan is reversed where the district court erred regarding: 1) the standard of review it applied to defendant's decision, 2) a discount defendant was allegedly entitled to under its contract, and 3) denial of a deduction claimed by defendant.
