US v. One TRW, Model M-14, 7.62 Caliber Rifle, 04-5082
Summary judgment for the government in a forfeiture action involving the forfeiture of a firearm pursuant to the National Firearms Act (NFA) is affirmed where the weapon at issue could be readily restored to shoot automatically, and thus, was properly classified as a machinegun within the meaning of the NFA so as to justify forfeiture.
