United States Sixth Circuit

NARDEI v. MAUGHAN, 01-4151

The time limits in Bankruptcy Rule 4007(c), governing the filing of complaints objecting to discharge under 11 U.S.C. sections 523 and 727, are not jurisdictional, and the bankruptcy court did not abuse its discretion by using its equitable power by allowing filing of an untimely objection.
