United States Sixth Circuit

SPADAFORE v. GARDNER, 01-2087

A civil conspiracy, which is an action available under 42 U.S.C. section 1983, is the only federal claim alleged by plaintiffs in an action arising from an incident with police officers, but summary judgment was proper where there was no evidence that the officers acted in concert to violate plaintiffs' constitutional rights.
