Police sergeant's acts in handling a domestic violence case, even if wrongful, were too remote from a death that eventually resulted from the incident for any violation of substantive due process to be found; sergeant was entitled to qualified immunity absent a law that may have put him on notice that his conduct offended the Constitution.
