United States Sixth Circuit
US v. AL-ZUBAIDY, 00-2343
Regulating use of the channels of interstate commerce to prevent the spread of harm to people of other states from the state of origin is within Congress's Commerce Clause power; thus, defendant's challenge to 18 U.S.C. section 2261A, an interstate stalking statute providing a jurisdictional element requiring interstate travel, was properly rejected.
