PERKINS v. AM. ELEC. POWER FUEL SUPPY, INC., 99-4500

Evidence that safety ropes or handrails were not on ship is sufficient to support claim of inadequate safety procedures even though there are no regulations or industry practices requiring them, as long as there is evidence that prior injuries resulted from their absence.
