United States Fifth Circuit

US v. Charles Fulton, Sr., 17-41251

Affirmed denial of petition for rehearing. Defendant was convicted of sex trafficking and brought a petition for rehearing on the grounds that his Fourth Amendment rights were violated because of the search of his cellphone and he was not allowed to question minor victims. Appeals court held that evidence from cellphone was properly obtained and the effect of limiting cross-examination of witness was minimal, as there was ample other evidence of guilt.
