United States Fifth Circuit
Cumpian v. Alcoa World Alumina, LLC, 17-40825
Held that a personal injury lawsuit should have been remanded to state court because of the absence of diversity jurisdiction. The district court erred in determining that the parties were completely diverse. Vacated a summary judgment ruling, in a lawsuit brought by a contractor's employee who was injured in an industrial accident at a factory.
