United States Fifth Circuit

Ikossi-Anastasiou v. Bd. of Supervisors, 06-31111

In an action alleging racially discriminatory denial of unpaid leave, summary judgment for defendant is affirmed in part where plaintiff's disparate treatment claims were time-barred. The ruling is reversed in part where defendant's allegedly retaliatory act occurred within the 300-day window for filing an EEOC claim and was thus timely.
