United States Fifth Circuit

US v. Douglas, 07-11007

Defendant's sentence for ammunition possession is affirmed, where the District Court did not err by sentencing Defendant to an above-range non-Guideline sentence based on its assessment of the 18 U.S.C. section 3553(a) factors, because "lack of remorse" and "acceptance of responsibility" can be separate sentencing factors.
