United States Fifth Circuit

Grilletta v. Lexington Ins. Co., 07-30963

In a suit over insurance coverage for damages to a house during Hurricane Katrina, judgment for plaintiff-insured is affirmed in part where there was no indication that the district court committed clear error in determining that the plaintiffs were entitled to full coverage for the loss of their house, but reversed in part where the district court erred in failing to impose statutory penalties on the entire amount due.
