Harvey v. Grey Wolf Drilling Co., 07-31106
In a negligence suit by surviving family members against a decedent's employer, dismissal for lack of complete diversity between the parties is reversed where, for purposes of federal diversity jurisdiction, a limited liability company (LLC) is a citizen of the states of which its members are citizens, not of the state where it is organized.
