Bolton v. City of Dallas, 07-10999

In a suit alleging violations of plaintiff-police chief's due-process rights, summary judgment finding that defendant-city was not liable under 42 U.S.C. section 1983 for plaintiff's termination is affirmed where the city manager who terminated plaintiff was not a final policymaker with respect to the termination decision, and the city could not therefore be held liable under section 1983.
