United States Fifth Circuit

US v. Campos-Maldonado, 07-20715

A sentence following a guilty plea to unlawful reentry is affirmed over challenges to the reasonableness of the sentence claiming it overstated the seriousness of his prior assault offense since it should have been treated as an aggravated felony, rather than a crime of violence, and the offense was a youthful aberration.
