Wartsila Finland OY v. Duke Capital LLC, 07-20012
In a suit involving payments under a contract to construct a power plant in Guatemala, a judgment confirming an arbitration award and denying intervenor defendant's request for a stay of enforcement is affirmed where: 1) the district court properly interpreted a tribunal's award when it determined that the award contemplated summary confirmation and enforcement by the court; and 2) the district court did not abuse its discretion in denying the request for a stay of enforcement.
