A conviction and sentence for being a felon in possession of a firearm is affirmed over claims of error regarding: 1) supplemental jury instructions; 2) certain statements regarding defendant's parole status; 3) a four-level sentencing enhancement based on a finding that "the defendant used or possessed any firearm or ammunition in connection with another felony offense"; and 4) a determination of his base offense level due to a prior conviction of a "controlled substance offense".
