Arnett v. Combs, 06-51103
In an action challenging the Texas Unclaimed Property Law (UPL) alleging that the Comptroller's practice of retaining revenue generated from unclaimed property held by the state pursuant to the UPL is an unconstitutional taking without just compensation, dismissal of plaintiff's claims is affirmed for the reasons stated by the district court in its prior orders.
