United States Fifth Circuit
US v. Ronquillo, 06-50991
Consecutive sentences imposed on defendant for two drug-related offenses are affirmed over claims that: 1) the district court violated his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination as well as the U.S.S.G. by sentencing him to consecutive, rather than concurrent, sentences as punishment for failing to cooperate with the government; and 2) imposing consecutive sentences was contrary to the U.S.S.G. and unreasonable.
