United States Fifth Circuit

US v. Nguyen, 06-10686

Convictions for defendants' involvement in a fraudulent home buying scheme are affirmed over claims that: 1) the government presented insufficient evidence to support one defendant's convictions; 2) the district court erred in admitting summary witness testimony; 3) it also erred in admitting evidence of unindicted transactions and in issuing conflicting limiting instructions; and 4) other defendant's trial counsel provided ineffective assistance, which resulted in prejudice to him.
