United States Fifth Circuit
Terrebonne v. K-Sea Transp. Corp., 06-30041
In a Jones Act and admiralty matter involving an original injury and subsequent "re-injury" sustained by plaintiff-employee on a tug, orders granting defendant's motion to compel arbitration, denying rehearing, and confirming an arbitration award are affirmed where an arbitration agreement entered into by the parties in 2001 was enforceable and was broad enough for the district court to compel arbitration and allow the arbitrators to determine the agreement's scope.
