Sobrinio v. Med. Ctr. Visitor's Lodge, Inc., 06-20671
In a suit against a former employer alleging plaintiff was paid below the minimum wage and was not properly compensated for overtime, in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), summary judgment for the employer on grounds that plaintiff is not covered by the FLSA is affirmed where plaintiff failed to show that he was engaged in interstate commerce in his work with defendant, a motel which houses patients and families seeking treatment at a particular medical center.
