Chacko v. Sabre Inc., 05-11445
Summary judgment for defendants, which included plaintiff's former employer, a severance plan, and the plan administrator, on a claim for wrongful denial of severance benefits under ERISA is affirmed over claims that: 1) defendants were precluded from denying his claim for benefits because they engaged in "inequitable conduct"; and 2) the administrator abused its discretion by applying an incorrect legal standard to his claim for benefits.
