De la Rosa v. St. Charles Gaming Co., Inc., 05-41563
In a suit claiming unseaworthiness in admiralty and negligence under Louisiana's "slip and fall" statute involving a customer's fall while aboard a gaming boat, summary judgment for defendants on the admiralty claim is affirmed where the district court correctly found that an indefinitely moored floating casino like defendants' is not a "vessel" for purposes of admiralty jurisdiction.
