United States Fifth Circuit

Pritchett v. Pound, 05-41445

In a dispute over the copyright ownership of two books, summary judgment and an award of attorney's fees for plaintiffs are affirmed where: 1) sole ownership of the copyrights lies in plaintiffs as the books at issue were "made for hire"; 2) plaintiffs' declaratory judgment action was not barred by limitations; and 3) the attorney's fee award was warranted.
