United States Fifth Circuit

US v. Pope, 04-51008

A conviction and sentence for conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine is affirmed over a claim of error regarding the denial of a motion to suppress evidence obtained during a two-stage evidentiary search of her residence where: 1) because defendant did not make a falsity argument in the district court, the argument was waived for purposes of appeal; and 2) the district court did not err in concluding that an original affidavit was sufficiently detailed to justify an officer-s reasonable belief that it indicated probable cause to search defendant's residence.
