United States Fifth Circuit

US v. Newman, 05-20603

Defendant's conviction for being a felon in knowing possession of a firearm is affirmed over his challenges to a denial of a motion to suppress guns found during a warrantless search of his home where there was no error in a finding that exigent circumstances justified agents' entry into defendant's home, and the exigent circumstances were not impermissibly manufactured by police.
