United States Fifth Circuit
Kohler v. Englade, 05-30541
Summary judgment for defendants, a city, a police chief and a detective, on plaintiff's claims brought under 42 U.S.C. section 1983 arising out of a massive law enforcement search for a serial killer in Louisiana is vacated in part where the district court erred in finding that a seizure warrant for plaintiff's DNA submitted by defendant-detective to a judge was supported by probable cause, but the judgment is otherwise affirmed.
