Jauch v. Nautical Servs., Inc., 05-30466

In a suit arising from injuries plaintiff sustained while working as a seaman aboard a vessel owned and operated by defendant, an order denying maintenance and cure and apportioning fault equally between the parties is affirmed, but an award of past medical expenses and a denial of prejudgment interest are vacated and remanded where the district court failed to provide sufficiently specific reasons to allow review.
