United States Fifth Circuit
Acosta v. Master Maintenance & Constr. Inc., 05-30126
A judgment of a district court that removal of a tort action arising from certain chemical exposure was proper under the Convention Act is affirmed where the district court correctly concluded that the subject matter of the action related to arbitration agreements falling under the Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards, and that federal jurisdiction was not defeated by a lack of unanimous consent of defendants.
