United States Fifth Circuit

SMALLEY v. ASHCROFT, 02-60231

Because the intentional concealment of illegal drug activity is intrinsically wrong, plaintiff has been convicted of a crime involving moral turpitude. Thus, section 309(c)(4)(G) of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act precludes the court's jurisdiction over his final order of deportation.
