United States Fifth Circuit

US v. POWELL, 02-21211

District court committed harmless error in not informing defendant of its authority to order mandatory restitution per the Mandatory Victims Restitution Act. Court did not abuse its discretion in denying her motion to withdraw her guilty plea and in not holding an evidentiary hearing on such motion. (Republished opinion)
