United States Fifth Circuit

US v. GREEN, 01-31359

A firearm found during a warrantless vehicle search should have been suppressed where defendant was secured 25 feet from the vehicle at the time of the search, and no danger to the officers or the public existed. Intercepted wire communications were authenticated, and exempting DEA agents from sequestration was not erroneous.
