United States Fifth Circuit

US v. DUFFAUT, 01-30984

A vehicle owner's consent was not necessary in order for police officers to use a drug-sniffing dog to perform a free-air search, and admission of physical evidence from a prior drug arrest, with a limiting instruction, was not plain error. (Revised opinion)
