Attorneys' fees for work on the dispute involving attorneys' fees are directly and reasonably incurred in proving an actual violation of the plaintiff's rights and therefore recoverable under 42 USC 1997e(d), but also subject to the Prison Litigation Reform Act's cap of 150 percent of the damages awarded.
