United States Fourth Circuit
US v. Marshall, 164494
Denying a motion for the court to release assets forfeited after the conviction for crimes so that he could afford to hire appellate counsel of his choice for his appeal of his criminal convictions because defendants do not enjoy the right to counsel of choice on appeal and even if they did the Supreme Court has clearly foreclosed the right to use forfeited funds to hire appellate counsel.
