United States Fourth Circuit
Dingle v. Stevenson, 15-6832
In a petition for writ of habeas corpus relief from a life sentence for a guilty plea of murder, committed while petitioner was a minor, the District Court's denial of petition is affirmed where Roper v. Simmons, 543 U.S. 551 (2005), which invalidated the death penalty for juvenile offenders, may not be applied retroactively to invalidate petitioner's guilty plea.
